Entwined is a simple concept: objects in the form of trees that seem to dance to the beat of color lights, designed by San Francisco artist Charles Gadeken. It is an enchanted forest, indeed.
It was brought to Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park to illuminate the Holidays in 2020 and has returned yearly. Some neighbors think it should be a permanent, year-long installation.
Entwined San Francisco brings joy to walkers, runners, bike riders, and everybody who sees the changing lights from far or close. The lighting trees and flower clusters add to the natural setting, making a perfect combination of art, technology, and nature.
