When David and Alfredo moved to Italy, David had no idea this would be the perfect setting for a mystery novel. Yes, the beauty of the town they were to about to became temporary residents, and so Italy, can inspire and have inspired many creatives to realize their dreams. But it was a tragedy that had happened a few years prior to David and Alfredo’s arrival that prompted David to write non-stop.
A priest was accused to being gay and because of that, he was denied priesthood. Tragically, the young man died. Intrigued by this, David wrote and published “Upon This Rock.”
