Actress Meryl Streep recalls a time many years ago when she was rejected for an important role in the King Kong movie. During her audition, she was told that she was too ugly for the part, says Streep on her unofficial Facebook page, showing a picture of herself on her way home, after such audition.
“This was a pivotal moment for me,” the famous actress says. “I took a deep breath and said: I am sorry you think that I am too ugly for your film but you are just one opinion in a sea of thousands, and I am off to find a kinder tide. ”
