By Lupita Peimbert.
Having just returned from a women’s weekend retreat led by Sarah Sandhill, I am looking at and thinking about men with different eyes. We have been conditioned to see each other as entirely different beings because of gender, when all of us are souls having a human experience.
Sarah’s women retreat in Northern California is one outside of the box and it pushes further, presenting gender, equality and sexuality in profound ways. Rather than theory and lecture, it plays with experiencing and combining knowledge. As a result, one’s views on gender and equality are not limited to the intellect but expanded to the full person in all of their dimensions, and to what that person is able to absorb and understand.
And that is all I wish to say for now. Happy Week!
You think intercourse is a private act; it’s not, it’s a social act. Men are sexually predatory in life; and women are sexually manipulative. When two people come together and leave their gender outside the bedroom door, then they make love.
