Mexico City’s international airport continues reminding passengers and visitors to keep their distance. Although the Benito Juarez International Airport remained open throughout the pandemic, they have been strict about following and enforcing COVID19 regulations.
While a good number of elders have been vaccinated in Mexico, the population at large remains awaiting vaccines. According to data published in the New York Times (May 6, 2021), 10% of the population in Mexico has received at least one dose of the vaccines while 6.6% has been fully vaccinated.
But since the airports in Mexico do not require a negative COVID19 test and it is open to international arrivals, all COVID19 precautions are in place.
If you fly to Mexico City, please remember to follow accordingly. #COVID19 #Keepyourdistance #SanaDistancia
