The Smallest U.S. Post Office

I am not even sure it is open for business; it may be, but I saw it on a Sunday and so it was closed.

You can find it near Mt. Shasta in Siskiyou County, California, in the town that used to be known as Berryvale.

Improvised historian here, I am daring to say that it opened its doors from 1870 to 1877.

In any case, it is charming, it attest to Berryvale’s past and it may actually be the smallest post office in the country!
