Staircase-III is one of a number of works Suh has made based on his personal memories of architectural spaces, both of his parents’ traditional Korean house in Seoul and his own Western-style apartment in New York.  Do Ho Suh’s work was featured at the Tate Modern’s Collection Displays in 2011.
