(LGBTQ) — It is the largest festivitiy for the LGBTQ community and allies in the United States. The San Francisco PRIDE celebration and parade congregates thousands of people to celebrate, educate, and liberate a culture and subcultures that proudly so wave flags of irreverent freedom, and rainbow flags.
Created in 1970, it has turned 46. Its crown is a colorful parade along Market Street. This year the SF PRIDE Parade is composed of 200 contingents, a “For Racial and Economic Justice” theme, and a special homage to the Orlando victims.
From the sidewalks, if you were there as spectator, you may have seen the usual suspects, a new breed of participants, and a wide scope of costumes.
