Ruth Asawa, Rest in Peace.

Ruth Asawa, the legendary Japanese-American sculptor, founder of the San Francisco School of the Arts, and a strong supporter of de Young Museum, died August 6, 2013, at age 87. Her work can be seen around the City; her famous wire-lamps were exhibited at de Young in 2006. RIP.
