Winemaker José Hernández will be at the Food and Wine Festival, to be held on November 11 and 12, 2023, in Palm Springs, California, with his Tierra Luna Cellar’s wines. But before dedicating himself to wines and vineyards, José was a NASA astronaut—the first farmer to achieve this in 2009.

It is impressive. After coming back from space, he was asked to give lectures to young people, and subsequently, he wrote inspirational books. To this day, he is highly sought after at schools and universities, and meanwhile, he is a very attentive father, husband, and son, present and proud of his family.
